Break Dance

Breaking is a street Dance that emerged in the Bronx, New York during the 1960s. This style of dance is a distinct type of movement, mainly involving dancing up top, footwork on the ground, and complex tricks known as “power moves”, which tries on a lot of physical training. It is the oldest and most popular dance in hip-hop culture, with a rich history of development and evolution.
Breaking's motto is "Peace, love, unity & having fun". Our community teaches the value of respect, supporting one another as a community, helps one to find oneself and encourages the youth to be their authentic selves. To test our skills, we battle each other on the floor, but we are family because we learn from each other (win or lose)!
Coming to the classes, your child will feel like they are part of something huge, incomprehensible, and inviting. In this world, your child will not only learn to dance, but also express themselves, become more confident, and meet new friends. Your child will learn to appreciate what they have and we gladly appreciate your child as they are.
